Why tuition with us?
Our professionals are constantly learning and working together to improve their knowledge. They are all PGA, with additional qualifications in these areas; Titleist Performance Institute (TPI), Trackman Certified, Scott Cowx Certified, Wedge Matrix.
The professional team are always studying and working towards accreditation in a minimum of one new area of specialism at all times. We have found that collaborative learning is the most effective learning process for us and our 3 professionals assign time to studying together every week. This ensures that they all fully understand what is being studied and that means that you, the customer, receives consistent advice of the the highest possible quality from whoever you work with.
In addition to the excellent knowledge base of the professionals you will also have full access to the KJ Golf App which will act as a one stop shop for all your golfing needs – from records of your lessons with your trackman data to tailored training programmes with video demonstrations, through to personal skills cards and access to lesson bookings.wing the game for all. We provide private tuition, academy group sessions, custom fitting, club repairs and retail services for all ages and abilities. We also provide fantastic social events, trips and opportunities.
FL Golf Academy, originally called FL Golf started in 2014 when Kegan Jamieson turned Professional. While undergoing the PGA degree Kegan worked as the Assistant Professional at Priors Hall GC in Corby.
We are more then just a game!
Our Philosophy
We don’t believe in 2 minute miracle fixes, we prefer the application of sound principles based upon the laws of physics and the capabilities of human anatomy. So, if you want to really improve, stop wasting hours on YouTube and pay us a visit.
Our sessions are 1 hour minimum. This is because we believe that development and improvement comes from spending adequate, u-nrushed time with a skilled professional coach – we never rush our students.
We also offer packages of 5 sessions which includes a free on course lesson OR skills card assessment.
We advise all players to have at least one session a month. Too often we see players book in only when things go badly wrong. We coach players to ensure they are always working purposefully and efficiently on the correct things and this prevents bad and destructive movements and behaviours developing. Clearly, if things have gone badly wrong we’ll always be here to help but where possible prevention is better than cure!
